Balboa Park After Dark - Fridays, May 26 - September 1, 2017
On Fridays from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend, enjoy extended evening hours at eight museums, as well as food trucks and entertainment throughout the Park. Kick off your weekend with some Balboa Park cultural greatness by taking advantage of this limited-time special program and experience something new every weekend this summer. General admission rates apply unless otherwise noted.
Balboa Park Food Truck Fridays - Every Friday, from June 2 through September 29, 2017
The Balboa Park Conservancy’s popular Food Truck Friday program will once again help visitors kick off their summer weekends in style in 2017. On Friday evenings from June 2 to September 29, visitors of all ages can enjoy live family-friendly entertainment while eating gourmet treats from a rotating selection of more than a dozen food trucks parked on the Plaza de Panama and El Prado walkway from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Now in its second year, Food Truck Friday is a program of the Balboa Park Conservancy in partnership with the City of San Diego Park and Recreation Department.
Balboa Park Twilight Concerts - Every Tuesday through Thursday, from June 20 through August 31, 2017
For 36 years, Twilight’s live music under the stars has been delighting visitors. The music program ranges from military bands and Dixieland jazz, to big band swing and Latin salsa. Concerts run all the way through to August 31, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. with special theme-events celebrating starting at 5:30 p.m. on the stage of the majestic Spreckels Organ Pavilion. Our goal at Twilight is to provide a fabulous, free, family-oriented venue for folks to come and listen to some great music. Bring a picnic, sit back and relax, or kick up your heels to some wonderful tunes.
Maker Faire - October 7 & 8, 2017

Halloween Family Day - October 31, 2017
Families can enjoy a fun and culturally inspired kickoff to their Halloween activities. Over two dozen participating museums and cultural attractions will present free craft projects for kids, costume parades, and other spooky surprises while participating museums offer free admission to children 12 and under with paying adult.
